I usually like to start out with getting the over all essence of form, queuing in on the placement of curves, and darkening features that I'd want to focus detail on.

I've done several custom commission pieces for customers over the years. These consist of portraits, landscapes, and recreations of famous pieces. A specific picture or idea they have in mind is created into a personalized, one-of-a-kind art piece just for them!
Primarily, I've used acrylic paint for these artworks, but oil paint can be used at your request.
These pieces can take from a month, up to a year to be completed, with your input as client to meet all your specifications. If you'd like to have a piece done as a gift (for a special day (ex.birthday, anniversary)), please let me know in advance, as to prioritize your commission.
