COMPLETE BOOK ILLUSTRATIONS
Whether you're looking for someone to illustrate a piece for your story or design your entire book based on an idea that came to mind, I've got your back.
Here is a collection of various books that I had part in creating, whether the complete thing or simply artwork for a publication.

PAPA, DON'T GO
In this digital art piece entitled, Papa Don’t Go, the illustration adapts Dylan Thomas’ poem Do Not Go into that Gentle Night into a visual narrative of a boy’s struggle to overcome the pain of losing his father. As the original villanelle addresses a dying father, urging him to fight on rather than submit to death, this twist narrates the dream of a boy urging his father to stay with him, in the world of the living. While the Thomas’ stanzas describe various men succumbing to the “night”, either making a difference in the world, or gaining insight into the world in their last moments, this boy sees his father as surpassing all the wise, wild, and good men who’ve lived, wishing in his greatness, he’d thwart the mortality of man.

PORTRAITS
I first fell in love with drawing because of the fascination of capturing a person's likeness through sketches.
This stemmed into my start into digital illustration, where I experimented with building layers, testing brushes, and finding a style of illustration for myself.
FROM SKETCHES TO
FULL COLOUR
I usually like to start out with getting the over all essence of form, queuing in on the placement of curves, and darkening features that I'd want to focus detail on.
From then one, layer by layer, the art piece reveals itself. Try using the scroll tool to see how the sketch translates into the final art work.
